...THEY WERE NOT ALONE .....

World-renowned Opera singer Tito Gobbi was unusually close to his brother Bruno, who was killed in a plane crash near Malaga, Spain, in 1939. In his Autobiography the singer recounted how, years later, while driving fast up a mountain road with a cliff on one side and a sheer drop on the other, he encountered his brother, once again "Suddenly with a narrow corner in front of me I heard Bruno's voice so distinctly it was as if he was right next to me , "Stop - instantly"I obeyed, coming to a halt on a wide grass verge, the only spot of any width in the whole path. Moments later , around the narrow bend came an articulated lorry out of control...I knew that Bruno had spoken to me ...and saved my life.

Accounts from many people and places suggest that intelligences from beyond this life can make their presence known to aid or warn human beings . In 1863, during the American Civil War, a commander of confederate troops at the Battle of Gettysburg, Major General George Pickett, wrote in a letter to his wife that his deceased mother was with him ..trying to tell him something. In one contest, when she was lost, low on fuel and considering a forced landing, a girl's voice said to her "No, Eddie don't ", she flew on and approached an airport within minutes. The voice was that of a school friend who had been killed in a car accident years before ...

During the Second World War, while working for the British Government, Edith was flying in fog over the English Midlands when a Man's voice cried out," Eddie, look out !"It was her passed father, instantly she zoomed upwards- and narrowly missed hitting a hilltop. At that moment , a shaft of light broke through the clouds ahead, spotlighting a road leading to a fighter base where she could land. Most professional pilots, however skillful , experience an accident ...sooner or later in their flying career, but Edith never did. She was convinced it was because she never flew alone .
